#thankyoubudapest

After commissioned by the Vodafone 4G Budapest Essentials urban festival, in Spring 2015 FLOW PR came up with the concept of the #thankyoubudapest campaign, an initiative reflecting on the positive changes we could welcome in the Hungarian capital most recently on the fields of art, culture, architecture, urban development, gastronomy and nightlife. The campaign introduced the fresh faces of the new Budapest featuring well-known actors, actresses, designers, artists, chefs, DJs and politicians in addition to signature characters of the city including a bath attendant from Rudas bath and a market-woman from the Great Market Hall.

A photo series was a core element of the campaign telling the story of the Budapest people detailed previously, and it was firstly exhibited to the press in the beginning of June 2015 at an event titled ’Budapest Brand Snack’, a roundtable discussion seeking proper solutions to and showcasing excellent ideas on the branding and marketing of Budapest. Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Budapest Mrs Alexandra Szalay-Bobrovniczky took part at the roundtable and opened the exhibition

Photos and stories forming the campaign can be seen between 25 and 28 June 2015 at the Vodafone 4G Budapest Essentials festival centre in the Margaret Island.
